A long-standing commitment in support of biodiversity
Some causes go beyond the scope of our profession.
Biodiversity is declining. Around the world, fragile ecosystems are disappearing or deteriorating, often far from public view.
In response to these challenges, certain organisations choose to explore, document and act directly in the field.
For several years, FG Design has supported Naturevolution, an independent NGO committed to exploring and preserving threatened ecosystems across the globe.
The story began fifteen years ago at an adventure trade fair, when François Guarino, Founder and President of FG Design, met Evrard Wendenbaum, explorer, scientist and co-founder of Naturevolution, alongside Emeric Mourot.
From this meeting grew a lasting relationship, founded on a shared conviction: to act concretely for nature, with rigour and humility.

Exploring to understand, understanding to protect
Founded in 2009, Naturevolution works to safeguard biodiversity, deepen our understanding of the natural world and encourage more environmentally responsible behaviours.
- Science & Exploration: scientific expeditions conducted in remote natural environments to inventory species, document ecosystems and produce data essential to their protection.
- Sharing & Awareness: communicating discoveries through films, photography, exhibitions and educational initiatives to raise awareness.
- Conservation & Development: on-the-ground collaboration with local communities to sustainably protect threatened territories and promote responsible alternatives such as ecotourism and reforestation.
Among its emblematic areas of action are the Makay massif in Madagascar — a largely unexplored biodiversity sanctuary — as well as the karst landscapes and forests of Sulawesi in Indonesia. The organisation also carries out awareness initiatives in France.
An obvious alignment
Our profession consists of creating temporary spaces.
Naturevolution’s mission is to protect territories that are not.
Two different realities, yet a shared requirement: to act with coherence and responsibility.
Supporting Naturevolution is part of this logic, as a company’s performance is measured not only by what it builds, but also by what it chooses to preserve.
And our commitment will continue with the same consistency.
