A 240 m² chalet where technology, hospitality and business conversations come together.
At the Farnborough International Airshow, Siemens Digital Industries Software wanted to create more than a traditional exhibition chalet. The goal was to create an executive environment where customers could experience how connected lifecycle decisions, enabled by simulation, digital twins and industrial AI, come to life through guided conversations and immersive storytelling.
To showcase these software innovations, FG DESIGN created a 240 m² chalet built around a single guiding concept, from the entrance through to the hospitality spaces.
Siemens’ signature deep blue provides the visual framework. Warm honey-toned wood softens the space, while stainless steel captures the light and brings a contemporary, almost aeronautical precision.
The result is an elegant, refined and welcoming environment that stands apart from the often conventional design of exhibition hospitality chalets.

A journey that gives technology meaning
From the moment visitors arrive, two alcoves with soft grey seating create a welcoming pause.
The experience then shifts into an immersive hallway, carefully staged across four distinct sequences.
Rather than simply displaying information, the journey structures the content, connects each topic and enables visitors to understand the overall narrative without becoming overwhelmed by technical complexity.
Open conversations without compromising confidentiality
At Farnborough, the quality of the hospitality is just as important as the quality of the demonstrations.
Two enclosed meeting rooms have therefore been integrated into the chalet. Their semi-screened partitions preserve privacy while allowing natural light to flow freely and maintaining a visual connection with the rest of the space.
The hospitality area extends this approach with screen-equipped tables for technical discussions, a seven-metre bar operated by a premium caterer and a terrace overlooking the air display.
Bringing the brand to life, not simply displaying it
For Siemens Digital Industries Software, the challenge was to create a space capable of expressing a clear ambition: connecting expertise, data and operations to deliver greater speed, resilience and performance.
The project perfectly reflects FG Design’s approach within the aerospace, defence and space sectors: understanding a company’s strategic challenges and translating them into spaces that are clear, distinctive and meaningful.
A single guiding concept, 240 m² and a seamless experience from beginning to end for the brand, its teams and its customers.
That’s the FG Design signature.
